The Portraits of Jerson Jimenez
The details I highlights in each of my portraits make those faces unique, unmistakable and intense, precisely because what I want to come out are the essences, those true colors that characterize each person’s interiority and that manage to make it unique precisely because of those facets, those infinite combinations capable of generating a delineated and changing personality; the sensation is that of observing others through the lens of a kaleidoscope, from which one can see the different joints that make up its exclusive and original peculiarities.

Born in 1970 in the Dominican Republic
First exhibition in 1987 in the Dominican Republic
First trip to Europe in 1991 resident in Vienna
1998 - 2017 teaching as adjunct professor for sports at the University of Vienna
Member of the Austrian aggregation of interests for fine arts (IG Bildende Kunst Österreich)
